How to Develop An Offline Marketing Strategy

Tuesday, April 27th, 2010

Please note that this article is about making money with affiliate marketing. This topic is fully covered in 2 products I would highly recommend: fast track cash and cb wealth maker. Now let’s get into it…

If you are an internet marketer it might seem logical that all of your marketing efforts and expenses would involve marketing online. How much do you spend every month on things like PPC advertising, outsourcing SEO, paying for ezine or banner ads or other online marketing methods? Even if your business model is internet marketing, have you ever thought of trying some old-fashioned (or not so old-fashioned) offline marketing? You should keep in mind that potential customers are all over! If you limit your marketing to online methods you are going to miss out on a very viable audience! Not sure where to start? Here are the basic offline marketing methods every internet marketer should try.

You definitely want to distribute fliers – what is the limits on this where you live? Can you attach then to house doors? How about placing one under the windshield wipers of cars in the mall’s parking lot? The law part is out of the way, now it is time to get to work by printing some simple fliers out on your desktop (you can do a search online or go to your local library to learn how); if you don’t have the time then just outsource the job to a small business or a freelancer, these types of products don’t cost much. Now just pass them out the best way that you can; you can even pay others to do it for you. Put a coupon code into the fliers so you can track your success!

Distributing business cards is good too. This one is easy, one way to target prospects is to visit your library and bookstore and leave the cards in books that pertain to your niche. They don’t want you doing this but it’s easy to pass off as a person who is looking for something to read. And if you get caught, so what, its not like they caught you stealing or defacing a product.

The use of bulletin boards that you see in public places is often overlooked by most marketers. These boards are free to place your ads on. A well placed flier with something people can take home to help them remember your URL can do wonders for your business. This simple bulletin board technique works because it draws the eyes of most people that enter the store. You could bring in hundreds or even thousands of dollars in business by advertising on local bulletin boards! You can advertise any product or service, even if it’s mainly an internet business, offline in a number of effective ways. There are at least as many great ways to market your business offline as on the internet. If you are open-minded and creative, more ideas will come to you.

If you are persistent as well as creative you will find no shortage of ways to promote your business! Always be on the lookout for people who could be potential clients. You may have to invest a few dollars in a direct mail campaign or printing up some materials, but it can be well worth it in the long run. There are highly effective ways to market offline as well as online; why not take advantage of both?
